The Balkhauser Kotten knife series from Güde Solingen craftsmanship with unique history: the characteristic handles are made from the oak wood of the historic water wheel, which was taken out of service at Balkhauser Kotten in 2008. The individual grain of the oak wood makes each knife unique and gives it a special character. The blades are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel, rustproof, ice-hardened, and manufactured in over 40 manual steps. The logo at the end of the handle shows the Grinder Museum and recalls the traditional past of this extraordinary edition.
